My Story
"We are not a product of what has happened to us in our past. We have the power of choice."
- Stephen Covey

I believe that everyone has an innate ability to navigate through the challenges they face; however, this ability often gets overshadowed by self-doubts, low self-confidence, significant negative experiences, relationship issues, or trauma. Our behaviour, the choices we make, and the ways in which we interact with the world are largely influenced by the relationships we develop, the support we receive, and the means by which we learn to cope with life’s adversities. My passion comes from, at first as a child, hearing, and thereafter, witnessing, supporting, and experiencing the extent of human resilience, and the turnaround one can experience when they open their mind to the prospects of learning, changing, and exercising their personal power. My aim is to help individuals overcome their unique challenges and achieve their personal goals through fostering self-insight, competence, as well as a sense of empowerment, autonomy, and control. My approach is eclectic, person-centered, and solution-focused in nature, which entails drawing on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques, and using the most effective methods available, to address each individual’s unique challenge.
