My Story
I’m Geraldine Van Zyl, a counsellor, wife of a loving husband and mother of two beautiful daughters. I am an active volunteer, aiming to bring about change in vulnerable communities. I have always had a passion for working with children, and individuals in need. From a very young age I wanted to work with people and make a difference. I view counselling as a collaborative journey, that make people feel that they are never alone. I always strive to make a difference where I can. The world has been affected by Covid 19 pandemic, loss, grief, depression, trauma and the conflict of self-esteem problems, only to name a few and no one needs to face these life challenges alone.
My aim is to assist individuals within their own frame of reference and guide them to ultimate well-being and optimal functioning. Taking into consideration that individuals function at there own pace. With support and guidance, overall well-being can be achieved and maintained.
